Difference between getting paid and cashing out

sorry, english is not my first language and i am a little confused with the difference of getting paid and cashing out....i read a post that someone said that you can cash out at a certain time but you get paid at a different time??? some help?

Cash out means requesting (asking) for your money
Getting paid means getting your money

Yes if you cashout on the last day of the month you will get paid on the 20th of the following month. i.e.:Cashout on April 30th you will get paid on or before May 20th.
