colds and flu
« on: March 16, 2011, 09:18:52 pm »
 :BangHead: Hello everyone!
Well I haven't been here in awhile but I am back; went to a family dinner and caught a cold then I had the flu on top of all this, I still feel as if a freight train has run me over several times! :crybaby2:
How does everyone else try to get over these? I have been drinking plenty of orange juice, taking Ibuprofen for the aches and pains and trying to get plenty of rest (this is just to mention a few) Unfortunately I have spent more nights sleeping in the recliner than my bed though! :BangHead:

You should use a humidifier to help with your breathing.  Using a humidifier at night while sleeping will also help to keep you from getting colds because it keeps your mucus membrane moist, which is what keeps germs from entering your body via your nose.  You couls also try taking vitamin C tablets.
