not really but I have heard the lines were stitched by God as a reminder of our life.

i do believe, and i don't believe...
i'm a little skeptical when it comes to anything
that deals with the supernatural/magic/whatever
you want to call it. i DO believe there are people
who have been given these types of gifts - people
who were born with a deep perception into the
unknown and who can communicate differently
than the average person.

...but i think these people are very rare, and i also
think that the people who have these abilities do
not throw themselves into tacky markets for selling
their specialties.
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

Yes. Eight years ago I drunkenly stumbled upon a palm reader at New Orleans Mardi Gras and he stated specific things from my past and present that would have been impossible to guess or throw out...not generalities.  He also told me a few things about the future that have come true.  There were a few additional things that haven't happened...yet.

I think that being able to "read hands" is more an ability to read a person's body language. If you're good at reading people, it's not hard to figure out exactly what they want to hear.

I also agree,  I would never subject myself to a palm readers. due to what the bible says
about those who follow such deserve death, and then again, I see where prophets did predict.
but I think I will stay away from that fine line between flesh & spirit for fear I might pick up the
wrong spirit.

I have had some real good experiences with tarot readers.
I was fascinated with a friend that was a palm reader. He could nail the persons past and personality right from reading their hands.
I think his is more psychically gifted though ... than just a palmist.

As far as the biblical individuals that shy away from it.
The bible is full of magick!
There are several passage in Acts which address the abilities that are given to God's children.
The miracles, casting out, seeing visions and dreams etc. It's all there.

The suffer a witch to death ... is more correctly translated that a witch should not charge for her abilities.
Sorcery was condemned because it involved child sacrifices ... yet we see where Isaac was to be one.

I would say that the Bible in a lot of ways has to be read with the inspiration it was written.
It is the inspired Word not the inherent Word. Please don't fly off the handle it is my own personal opinion that I would not push just share with people.
