30 forum posts suggestion!

Okay..(deep breath): I suggest that the 30 posts forum bonus be changed just little. Instead of just posting 30 posts each month and requesting $3, here's what I suggest:

Members will post in the forum like usual but will only be able to request the bonus if their posts have reached a certain level of popularity (meaning, a certain number of responses from other members).

Sounds harder? I know... This way the forum (interesting as it already is) will be way more interesting because every member will try a little harder to post more interesting things in the forum (and not only post in other members' topics but start topics of their own  )......but

Fusion cash will add a little more to the bonus...making it...let's say... $10 (or something different, but higher than the usual $3)

Tell me what you think.

I'm only one voice here, so don't read too much into my thought here. But they say "don't fix it if it ain't broken". I think we'd be very hard pressed to find ANY site willing to pay for FORUM Participation. And to offer $3.00 to do so is incredible IMHO. I've cashed out on this every month since learning about it.

Your proposal is nice, because it offers more money, all of which comes from FC's hands. And more time for Kohler/Admins to have to track the threads each month. I'm not so sure we want to burden them even more, and ask them for potentially more money. I'm grateful for the $3.00 bonus each month.

There's more I could argue, but bottomline would be a "no" vote from me. Sorry.

It would increase our workload and quite possibly our costs, and also people would team up to meet the requirements (just like people follow others in the Twitter bonus thread so they meet the requirements), thus circumventing the purpose of measuring "popularity".

I think the system we have now is pretty objective, and you don't have to rely on the actions of others in order to qualify.

In order to make it cost the same we would have to deny more than 2/3rds of the people who request a bonus...

In short, while I appreciate the motive behind your idea (improve forum post quality), I don't think this is an effective way to go about it.

I am fine with the way it is now.  I am just happy to receive what we do for the forum.

Hi, i am happy with it as is as we dont want to overburden FC. We can keep the cost level.

I agree with the if it ain't broken, don't fix it.  3$ for 30 posts is good, although I agree some of the posts and topics leave a little to be desired.

Sorry, I would not be for this one.  In case you haven't noticed, well, some members just aren't as nice as the majority!

And like the Admin said - I have NO doubt that people would gather up a group to make it to the top.  Does that sound fair to the rest
of us??  Nope 

I do thank you for taking the time to try and improve things!  Maybe something else will come out of your idea

I'm new to the forum and fusioncash, but I have to agree with if it isn't broken why bother fixing it. I also believe in preventive, but I'm sure fusioncash has already taken care of that in some way shape or form. Think of it this way... if someone gets angry or upset with someone then they will not reply to that members post and that member tells their buddies... so on so on... grouping. I'm still learning here, but seems to be a great place to be just the way it is. Thank-you!

Well I have yet to cash out on this great offer, but I am glad FC does offer it. I usually
never posted at forums. But now I do! I think it's a great incentive the way it is...

I would rather the admin work on ways to qualify our 30 posts within 28 days so we can post one month and collect the $3 the next month. The pay is wonderful but it would be nice if the pay came in before I cashed out before the end of the next month.

Let's not turn this into a popularity contest! All opinions should be treated equal when it comes to the posting bonus.
