Playaways ? Ever listen to them?

I started getting playaways for my elderly father at the local public library .... audio books that come with batteries and headphones are a great way to listen to a book.  My dad can't see well enough to read but loves to keep his mind active.  I saw one that interested me so I tried it and I am hooked.  I now invested in a better mp3 player and download audio books from the library - it is free and a great tool.  I plug them in and listen while I clean house, walk, exercise, etc.  I Love it.  The public library also has E books you can download.  If you haven't tried it - a great way to save money and be entertained.  They usually have all the new dvd's as well.... if you reserve online you can just go pick them up and keep them a week for free!!!
