I checked about it, it is a joke, they said the site will be closed for maintenance from 29-31 February. Anyone trying to login on those dates will be disappointed.

see, this year is not a leap year, so there is no 29th, don't say 30th and 31st. so it is a joke

I seem to see that posts on someone's page every month about facebook closing down. I seriously doubt that because its too big and its growing and a lot of networking and marketing going on there.

obviously its just a something someone posted and then everyone went around reposting it withourt actially looking into it. goes along with the one that they're going to start charging a fee to use it.

I have a facebook page but use it rarely.  I doubt that facebook will close.  Way to many people are using it these days, I agree it would be myspace that would be shut down.
