We had two corgis, both passed now, but we had only intended to get one. We went to the corgi farm, yes, a real place, and there was one little corgi who was running around like a loon and the owner told us he was the runt and mentally impaired. My dad fell in love with him and the owner gave him to us for a way cheaper price and even though he was definitely impaired he was the sweetest dog ever.

He may not necessarily be "trying to do something".  A male animal mounting another animal is also a way of showing dominance.

And my dog is intelligent, but also stubborn and clumsy.

One of my dogs, which passed about 4 1/2 months ago, was one of the most intelligent/clever pups I'd ever had the privilege of sharing my life with. We were able to teach her commands w/o using words, just a small hand signal was all. The two dogs I have now are stupid/smart. Sometimes I think they're the dumbest creatures on Earth, but then I remember that I've seen worse. However, they certainly aren't the brightest I've ever had.

Not at all. In fact my dog is scary smart. It makes me rethink animals. She understands me right? Bbut i dont understand her. So who is the smarter of the two? hmmmm

my dog is smart enough to live out side for 4 days and still come back to the house.
