we could all go without food for so long, it is called fasting. It is water  that our body needs to replenish itself, you do need food after several days though. I would not recommend going without, your body uses the vitamins in food to work, to build immunity to keep you running right.

Yes, I have gone a full day without eating anything. I've done so on multiple occasions. I have even gone far longer without eating. Dunno why exactly, sometimes it just happens.

I've gone days without eating before but usually because I was sick. My body could feel the effects of no nourishment but what could I do? I've tried fasting before for diets and can go the whole day but then night comes and I can't stand it. I'm not anorexic but just by the by, they say bulimics are failed anorexics.

As a christian, I was praying for something in my life having to do with a negative part of my personality that I wanted to go.  I prayed and prayed about it. It was takiing forever.  I read a book detailed about fasting, and it was a 10-day plan.  You were to drink water if you got hungry.  You could drink diluted coffee or tea.  No sweetener.  If you didn't think your energy would get you through, you could eat a spoon of honey because it was already digested by the bees.  I actually did it, and some awesome things happened during that time.  As an added benefit, I lost 12 pounds  I want to do it again, but when I tried a second time, I couldn't get through the first day which is when the head hurts so badly, you think it is going to explode.

If you look up the "breatharians", you see that they are nothing more than con-artists or liars.  Even the more "successful" famous ones did their fasting only from food; they continued to take in liquids.  And many of them, during scientific testing, left the view of testers or cameras often which invalidated any possible proof.  In fact, many who attempt to be a "breatharian" end up sick or even die.
That's not to say that some people may be able to survive longer than others, but those people are few and far between.  In general though, intentionally going without nutrients and water is bad for your health.

No, I cannot.  I am diabetic and have to eat regularly to keep from passing out.

Can I?  Yes.  Have I?  Yes, for up to 30 hours without food.  Do I like to or do it regularly?  Certainly not!

Yes I often go a day without eating, sometimes I'm just too busy or just don't feel hungry.
