I just bought a set of Coopers and they were $450.00 for the set.  Michelin tires are too over priced and I dont see any better quality that is worth twice the price.

After having a 4 new tires blowout at high speed in the deserts of West Texas I found out the hard way that Firestone had a problem with the glue getting hot and separating the traction from the tire.  Since than I have sworn up and down by Micheleans and never had a problem.  I will never ever own a vehicle that has firestone tires on it.

I prefer Bridgestone I got 180,000 miles on the last set, I also have nitrogen in the tires, with nitrogen instead of air the do not have to be checked as of as when i had air in the tires., you also get more miles to gallon of gas.

this is good! I have certainly wondered about nitrogen. heard about them, just never had a report on them. thanks

I've had ML for over 6 years until they worn out.  I guess it depends on how much you drive and how you drive that your tires will last.  I've never had BS so I don't know how good they are.

I think that both are pretty good tires.  I have heard good things about both.

I will use both types of tires but I really go for the best deal that I can find.  Brand is something that I look at after I check the prices.

Hard to say which is better when they make so many different tires. But the only time I have had either was if they came on the vehicle new and those most of the time are the worst tires you can get.
Neither brand is on my list when it comes to buying tires, there are just many other better options for my type of driving and vehicles.
