Did anyone else have such a hard time turning 30yr?I hate getting older

Turning 30 didn't bother me too much - it was turning 39 that really got to me.  Once
I hit 40 I was OK.

Age is just a number and I have never really let specific age milestones bother me.  I remember being excited to reach certain ages like 16 so I could finally drive!

Being human and alive , yes you are going to get older.  Turning 30 is just a number-its all in how you feel about you and your mindset.  Why do people go on about getting older, it may not be fun getting older but if you have your health and faculties then the subject is moot.  Get over yourself and live your life.

 :wave:I can't remember my 30th birthday. I will be 51 years old in a couple of months. Now ,that is depressing! I am glad that I can say that I will soon be 51 though. I hated my teen years because I had an older brother. He always got away with everything. My parents raised us with different values because of our sex. Being the fact that he was a boy he got to do alot more at an earlier age, too. I guess that was the difference in the times. I am grateful for the age that I am now and I sure wouldn't want to repeat any past years.

Well, I wish I was back in high school where you have no bills to pay and all you have to do is study and get good grades.

I'm going to be 30 in July and my husband turned 30 last March. It didn't seem to change him much. He drinks a little more....lol...jk
