There are lots of them.  LeCellier in Canada at EPCOT is a great one.  Their cheese soup and pretzel bread is to die for.  Prime Time is a good one.  Liberty Tavern is good.  We have eaten at most of them and liked almost all of them.  EPCOT has good ones in most of their countries.

it really depends on which park/resort you're staying at.

chef mickey's is at the contemporary resort and has character dining, yummy desserts, it's very kid friendly and buffet style - but reservations fill up quickly, so it's one you have to book ahead of time.

the crystal palace is a good one too! the food is good and the hundred acre wood characters are there (pooh, piglet, tigger, eeyore.)

I would try to figure out what days you are going to be in each park and then make food reservations.  Our two top attractions are the Lion King in Animal Kingdom and Fantasmic at Hollywood studios.  Of course, you want to stay at Magic Kingdom for the castle lighting and fireworks.

You are never to old to go to Disney!  We go as a family - grandma, adult children and college aged grandchildren.

If you are new to WDW or haven't been in a long time, it sure helps to have some sort of a plan.  If you plan to visit all four parks, decide which day you will visit each park.  You can go to the Disney site and find out which parks have early or late hours.  If you stay on site, you can take advantage of the early morning hours at a certain park each day.  If you are not staying in a Disney hotel, I would advise not going to that park in the morning as it will be busier.

Be sure to take advantage of fast passes.  A lot of the attractions have a special line where you can get a "fast pass" to come back later in the day and get to go through a shorter line.  At Animal Kingdom, there are more animals out in the early morning and later in the day for the safairi ride.

I could write pages of info on Disney.

I went to Disney World just before the bi-centenial, with a student group.  It sounded so good my mom decided she wanted to go so we went back  We stayed in Buena Vista Village and had a balcony view of the fireworks.  Loved every bit of it.  I would love to go back and see Epcot.  It was in the planning stages back then.  A year later I visited Disneyland.  Now I feel "homesick".  I want to go again.  Sigh.
