Do you think the economy is going to get better for the YEAR of 2011?

We are in so much debt and I don't think the turn around will be coming soon....atleast if the jobs come back, that would be nice.

The world is in a total mess.  I see no signs of it being a better economic year.  Finding the truth is even harder so who's to know if we can turn around and start living within our means. (personal life as well as government).

I am not hopeful that the economy will improve now or ever. The world is in chaos and the US is to dependent on nations in uproar.

I am not sure but I hope it will get better.  People can't take much more to get worse.  So many people have lost jobs and there homes it is awful. 

I know that in my area the temporary work has picked up a little, alot of people have been able to find work as a temp no great but a start.

i've looked into it and it seems like this economy isn't getting better any time soon. don't count on waiting for it to get better. if you need a job, don't give up and keep your spirits up. i haven't found one after months of searching, but keeping myself occupied with volunteering and sites like fusioncash is taking my mind off the bad stuff.

I really hope it becomes better. A lot of people are out of work (including myself).

oh god i hope so, things are so tough now.and food has gone up  5% across the board

Think about how the economy will be in the future instead of 'now,' and I don't mean in the next decade or so. More like in the second half of this century.

If USA continues to operate our country with the same assumptions we have now, the economy will eventually collapse. Things need to transform radically from within and strip America from its roots for things to get better.

Frankly, I would not be surpised if America "the greatest nation on Earth" would fall within this century, considering that our consumption of fossil fuel and other natural resources won't be able to sustain the rate at which our population is growing, at least from the past couple of centuries to the next 60 years or so.
