For the forum bonus you get $3 for adding 30 posts to the forum. Check the rules as the posts need to add value to the conversation (meaning you can't just post to earn the $3). Once you have completed your 30 posts in a month fill out the forum bonus request form and then wait until they credit your account. Seems pretty easy. I have received the bonus the last two months, I have been paid out once and look to get my second payment this month. Good Luck.

People don't necessarily have to respond, but you have to post something worthwhile. For instance, asking a question like you did is totally worthwhile - both for you and the people who will read the answer. Answering a question, sharing an experience, or adding to a conversation is all worthwhile. You just can't do things like post "Hi!" 30 times and expect to be rewarded $3 for it.
