Just found out we are going to have a baby.... something I've been wanting for a while and we have been trying for only a few months.
My son is going to be so happy to be a big brother!

  Congradulations to all expectant Mothers'! There is nothing greater than seeing a family happy about the GOOD NEWS of a new addition to the family. My most happiest moments were when I was pregnant with my 3 boys. I really miss those days. Now that my guys are all grown up and in the process of "Sowing Their Wild Oats", they are not ready for that stage of life yet. At the ages of 29,20 and 18 I wonder if my oldest will ever be ready!He tells me that he just hasn't found the one yet. I guess, I am just growing alittle impatient. But I have always been told "All good things come to those who wait".

  Congrats. Enjoy every moment of it. Wish I'll have another one too because my only daughter is already 7yr. old and begging for it, as if a candy that you can buy at the store. But, I do believe everything has it's right time. I'm happy for you.

Congratulations! It's great to hear someone excited about being pregnant when things are so tough for almost everyone right now. I know a couple people who are also, but NOT as happy at the moment because of 'bad timing' with finances, jobs, etc. I know they will still be great parents and thrilled, but it's hard when it seems overwhelming. They should have been worried about the timing when they were enjoying making the babies......

it is overwhelming, and my husband has mentioned the "bad timing" -- which i am sure we would also say and feel it's bad for finances, etc.  We are certainly fortunate that we both are gainfully employed and pretty secure in that.

We knew we wanted another baby -- our first was born at 29 weeks gestation and spent his first 6 weeks in the hospital... we are praying to not repeat that and we will have a difficult pregnancy (well possibly we will) and so that is overwhelming, but right now.... we are focused on taking care of this bundle of cells that is about to turn into our baby!

Wonderful!!  My grandson is three and is just beginning to figure out some kids have brothers or sisters.  Now he is telling his mom and dad he wants one!

yeah - we were not expecting it to be so quick, but I feel blessed indeed -- I know so many people that struggle to get pregnant.
