Old TV shows
« on: January 15, 2011, 10:28:41 am »
Does anyone out there like those old tv shows like the Green Hornet, etc? We have a channel here in the Chicago area that plays all these old shows like Cannon, The Green Hornet, Streets of San Franciso, etc. I love them. What does anyone else think. :icon_rr:

We don't have anything like that, but my husband would love if we did.

We have a channel called TVLand that my husband really loves.  His favorites are Bonanza and the Andy Griffith Show.  I'm not quite as fond of them as he is but there are times when it truly is the best thing on TV.

yes we have TVLand here also and some of the old shows are on but mostly they show the same series over and over ... I would love to see some of the old Streets of San Franscisco or Hunter, Spencer for hire etc....   Those were good shows... now they are just stupid.

You can't go wrong with Beverly Hillbillies, Mr. Ed, Sanford & Son, etc.  TV Land is great!

Although I'm not a fan of television, I do like to watch the good old TV shows and cartoons, when life was simpler and less insinuation to sex like the show "2 and a a Half Men" which to me is utterly disgusting.  There is no way I would let my grandchildren watch this show.
