I saw where you have to apply for the $3 after commenting 30 times...where do you do this and by what date?

You go to this thread http://www.fusioncash.net/forum.php?topic=3464.0 and click on the forum bonus request form. Fill in the message id's from three of your posts and click submit. My recommendation is to have a bunch more than 30 though because if you only have 30 a few of your posts may not have been substantive enough and they may deny you the bonus. If you make sure to have plenty of comments for the month you will have a smaller chance of being denied. I believe you have the following month to submit for the bonus. Don't quote me on that though. I see when I go to the link I can request the bonus for December and January, so that is why I say that you have the following month to request your bonus.

It is also recommended that you have more than 30 posts to make sure that you have enough that are considered contributory.  The promotion post do not count towards the 30 for the month. 

You can start a thread along with replying.  Make sure you are giving more than 1 or 2 word answers. 

It can take up to 65 days to get credit as well, although usually it is only about 30 days.

I have always been credited for my post in forum.  It takes about 30 days.
