Any Grandmas out there who are raising their grandchildren?

I am raising my 11 year old grandson. He is just starting to enter puberty. Wow, I had forgotten how hard it is for them. He is a really good kid, but sometimes he can get a little mouthy. Do any of you have any suggestions how to help him realize that he is doing it and that it is disrespectful (other than harping on the subject?
