We got about 4 inches in our area.  I like the snow too.  It seems to cheer everybody up.

We got 6 inches and then the cold hit in western Missouri.  School has been out for 3 days so far.  Since we are retired, we haven't been out much.  We stocked up on food and haven't been more than 5 miles from home since the snow started.  We do have a dog in the neighborhood that we let out during the day.  Her mom took off the first day but had to go back to work yesterday.

luckily, i had a few days off from work this week
because the snow just keeps on coming in cleveland!
i need to fight my way to the post office, but i'm worried.
my tires aren't in the best condition, although the P.O.
is only a mile or two down the road...

we've gotten anywhere between 8-12 inches of snow.
it hasn't stopped for longer than a couple of hours.

jack frost has wore out his welcome!
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

I lived in Ohio all my life until I moved to NC where my husband is stationed so thanks to the lake effect I know what a true snow day is well down here is snowed about 2-3inches and they shut down base for 2 days and school was out for 3 days!

I live in New England outside of Boston Ma and it is still snowing today There was no school for any of the surrounding towns which also meant my daughter was off too she is a teacher don't you just love snow days.  The plows will be out all night which makes them happy  trying to clear the roads who knows what tomorrow will bring after all this is New England I had better check the weather station  :dontknow:

We got 6 1/2 inches of snow Sunday night, Monday Morning.  It was so pretty falling.  School is still out. I made it to work Tuesday with no trouble.  I did not have to work Monday.  I am about ready for spring to get here.  This has been a cold winter.  Although we had a very hot summer.

We got lucky around DC with this past snowstorm. The system from the north didn't come far enough south and the system from the south didn't come far enough north. I think we were the only part of the east coast that didn't get much. We just had a little sleet. It was slippery, but at least we didn't have to dig out.
