Check out your local hospitals, most offer CNA classes for free and will hire you when you complete the training. The hospitals here in Maine do this and also certify you too. You can go online and search your hospital websites or call them for more information. They can send you information packages filled with information to help you on your way. Check out your local community colleges, maybe a career as a Medical Assistant is more suited to you and most offer financial aid to get you through college. Hope this helps you.

I'm not familiar with Pittsburgh, but here in Clarksville, TN, you can take a CNA class for around $800.00 and then take the state exam to get certified. It would be great if they offered free classes and certification like they do in Maine.
