well there are many things.... but right now.....

i HATE when obscure "words" "non-words" and phrases come about as a popular thing to say.... trendy.

often, they make no damn sense to begin with....

some years ago..... "cool beans" came about.

a good friend said it one day..... i ASKED.... what? .... he repeated.... "cool beans"

to which i replied, who in the hell wants "cool beans"?

some months later we went to an art show..... there was all these college kids running about....
"cool beans! cool beans! cool beans! cool beans! cool beans!"

i wanted to blow my brains out.

now.... its "uber".

when in the hell did THAT word become part of the american vocabulary?

guess what folks? we have enough words in our vocab that we dont have to rip off other languages.

STOP IT RIGHT NOW!

"Uber"'s actually been around for a while I think but I think it's kinda stupid too. One that REALLY got on my nerves was "hella". And if I hear "that's hot" one more time I might be forced to choke someone.

yeah, i do know uber was stolen and has been used for some time by americans, but around here..... its just seems like there no end in sight.

i went through a thing a few yews ago... at work..... just to shake things up...

i tried to bring back 1973.

"thats groovy, baby."

"ah, maaaaaaan.... that aint too hip!"

i had them going for a while.

Hey, I say "groovy" and I wasn't even around in the 70's! I think I was born in the wrong decade.

i was too young to remember (born 1966) but alot of my favorite music came from that era. (late 60's- early 70's)

as a youngster, i think i would have made a good hippy.

I guess I'm weird. I'm only 25 and I think they stopped making good music at least 20 years ago. I'm an old soul in a young body lol.

Whoa.... 20 years ago WOULD be the late eighties huh. I'm getting old lol. Well I meant to say the early  eighties. And I'll agree with you on H.I.M. There's a few good ones out there but I really don't understand how people can listen to some of the crap nowadays. That's why I'll just stick with my Jimi Hendrix and whoever doesn't like it, they can turn up their bumpity bump nonsense and ignore me

i'm with you admin i'm 25 i speak normal engish but... when i'm typeing i shorten things to make it less typeing on me. so yes i use sup when speaking to friends, and lol and cool beans was one of my biggest favsssss lol. everyone has their own option on things and that great. that's how it should be. but i'm sorry you should'nt come onto an open forum and tell people to stop doing something. wether it be how they talk, type, spell, or whatever. only god has the right to say what is and is'nt right or wrong. so please let others be them selves. and you be yourself. no one in this world should have to change just to make someone happy.

I'm only 22, and I love music from the 80's. I even enjoy some of the stuff from 50's and early 60's. I'm not really into the 70's. I don't know why. Just never really got into it. I like some hip-hop/rap, and some rock from these days though. I don't listen to the radio all that much, so I don't really keep up to date with the latest stuff. Most of it seems to be junk anyways. I can't stand Colby Calle or whatever her name is. The song they play on the radio of her's (Bubbly) is way over played. It doesn't even have an interesting melody or beat. I can't stand all those emo-boy bands either...*lol* They all sound the same. I only like hip-hop/rap if it has a likable melody and beat. If its mostly just rapping, then I think it's boring. Hmm... Sorry if I'm like totally getting off track here!
