How can you make your kids listen?

  I have 2 teen kids that listen to me when they feel like to or when they see me pissed off. I need a better method to deal with teen stage. Can anyone give me an advise?

Well do you hollar and scream at them?  Or do you ever sit down with them and talk.  Listen to what they have to say then they need to listen to what you have to say.  People don't talk anymore these days.  When parent(s) do nothing but hollar and scream at them then they will not pay you no mind.  When you treat them like you want to be treated then things work a lot better.  (And this might not be happening at you place just telling what I know happens a lot with kids)  I know that things can be tough for both sides and if communication is there all the time then life is a lot better for both sides.  Hope this helps some and good luck.

Good luck, if you find a magic formula, let everyone know!! My 2 oldest have always been like night and day. The oldest one is rude and disrespectful of everyone in authority and my 2nd oldest is the nicest person you would ever want to meet. They were raised the same so I cannot be of any help. I treated them both the same, yet the oldest one never had any respect for me or anyone else.
