Happy story. Have followed it myself this week. Truly hope that the good fortune that has come to this man is greatly realized by himself and he takes full advantage of it without giving in to the urges for drugs and alcohol again. Good Luck to him. I believe everyone deserves a second chance.

I think this was GREAT! This man has a second chance! So many homeless people do not get this opportunity. It also goes to show that not all homeless people are just bums who want to do nothing. I have worked with homeless before. Most are there because of situations and there are a few who seem to like that kind of life, but they are not the norm.

Just goes to show that God can take anything and make it work for a blessing.  I also was happy to hear that he's off the streets.  I pray he gets off the drugs and alcohol and realizes that he's been given a golden opportunity to turn his life around.  Too often we are our own worst enemy.

    I watch the Today Show every morning. There was a story about a man pan handling off a freeway in Columbus, Ohio the other day, in which; he got a break of a life time from a newspaper reporter. The homeless man claimed he had a golden voice and this certain reporter wanted to hear something, like some sort of announcement. So, the homeless guy did a bit about a local radio station and it was a hit!! Now!! This homeless man was on TV this morning with the people of Today Show, saying how all these different places want him to come to work. The Cleveland Basketball Team, several radio stations and even Kraft Foods Inc. even want him as a spokesman for their company. What a God given blessing!
