The day after christmas the valentines day and easter stuff went up on the shelf! I hate how they push it down our throats!

I don't see why they put that stuff out so early. Before long you will see summer and back to school stuff... I hate trying to find stuff for the season/holiday that it is and seeing more stuff for a holiday that is months away. Like when I was shopping for my  daughter's Halloween party I was finding more Christmas stuff than Halloween! It just gets on my nerves that they have to cram it all together and can't wait a little while to put the next stuff out.  :BangHead:

I know, it's rediculous! I'm still in the after-effects of Christmas and New Years and already stores want me to be ready for Valentines day and Easter. Seriously?! Can people not worry about holidays constantly and just live a normal day to day life?

More and more I think that retailers are running our lives.  I imagine in the next year or so all of the big nicer stores will be staying open Thanksgiving and Christmas days so they can make more money.  Makes me not want to shop at all.   :BangHead: :BangHead:

It really is insane.  My wife came home the other day with a couple Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs.  At first I didn't think much of it.  Then it hit me... Why the hell are they selling these right now and not peanut butter hearts?!  She told me they had both at the store, but just grabbed some eggs.

Seriously... Easter is like 3 and half months away.  Can we at least get through Valentine's Day first?!  Before you know it, we're going to start seeing Christmas stuff in stores in August. ::)

i actually don't care if stuff comes out early because it has worked in my favor in the past. for example, my cousin joined the military 2 years ago and was deployed in early november. we knew he would not be home for christmas but did not want him to miss out on it so we were actually able to go shopping and get all our regular christmas stuff and we had a traditional christmas dinner, with decorations and presents and christmas music for him before he left. we would have been hard pressed to do that if the christmas stuff had not come out that early.
