I know this is really mean/cruel but.. if you catch a firefly and then pull it's bottom end (where it lights up) from the rest of it's body, while it's lit.. it'll stay lit for a bit.

I didn't do this myself, but I saw my little brother do it once a while back.

Lipstick has fish scales in it to make it glitter and shine. The skin is the largest organ of the body. The thumb that children suck/chew on is 93% likely to be the hand they write with. The brain send out over trillion command every second, that is wild I can hardly believe it myself.

I am a huge fan of useless information. For example, there are 118 ridges around a dime. I am not the one who counted the ridges and yet I know that. I will never use that information but I can always remember it. Also, Brad Paisley is the only country singer to have EVER been on the cover of a guitar magazine. I knew about the fish scales in lip stick. I've also heard that mascara is made from guano (bat droppings) or was it eye liner....maybe both. Either way, I wouldn't be surprised.
