There is nothing quite like having a nice piece of steak with a splash of salt and pepper that is cooked medium well...(now I am thinking about changing my dinner plans from chicken to steak)

Rare to medium rare is the best at giving the true flavor and, i believe, offers the most nutrients.  I think that cooking anything more than a medium temperature cooks away nutrients, flavor and the energy producing qualities that a body needs to extract from food fuels.  Steak Tartar with an egg, sunny side up, is the best...like sushi from a cow!

Cooked all the way and not too soft either. I can't stand red cos it reminds me of blood in my meat eeeek!

I am in the odd category of medium well.  Actually I am not sure that I am in a category.  I like my steak to look like pastel pink in the middle.  That is the perfect texture I like my meat.  Tender, juice, but done enough to call it cooked.

I like my steak medium rare better than well done. When its well done its doesn't taste good but as for medium rare its the best.
