Fusion Cash will not credit you unless they get credited first.  It's how their checks and balances works.  There is no perfect site....not even Fusion Cash.  Sometimes I've done offers, never got credited, but still get contacted from the offers I completed.  Now that makes me wonder.  Because someone acknowledged I signed up, and did the work, but I didn't get credited by Fusion Cash.

I do get credited more than not, but that's not the point.  If a person puts in the time and work, they should get credited for it.  This is something that really has bothered me ever since I signed up here.  We are told to put in "support tickets".  I've put in many, but never got credited for any I put a complaint in for.  Since we have no "proof" that Fusion Cash got "credited", in order to "credit" us, then we must take their word for it, when they tell us they didn't.  In my book, this "system" is a one sided trust....our trust in them.

Fusion Cash does sell our names and information to 3rd parties.  There is legislation in the house right now looking into this kind of practice, and certain watchdog groups trying to eliminate it.  I'm not against Fusion Cash, but people should know that it's not a perfect system, but one of the better ones out there.  I won't ask my friends as referrals because I don't want them disappointed when they don't get credited.  Some people have no problem with that.  That's okay for them.

It's always good to "Google" certain money making sites, and see what other people are saying about them...pro and con, and make up your own mind which one is a good "fit" for you.  You need to take all the variables and work it out for yourself.  Like myself, I'll make money here, but won't refer my friends.  It's my own personal choice.

The only time your data is transmitted to an advertiser is when you select "Yes" next to one of the offers during the $5 signup bonus process.  Beyond that we have never sold any data to anyone.  The data transmission during the "Yes/No" portion of signing up is covered in our privacy policy as well.

I can't remember the sign up bonus process ($5).  Do we have a choice to not say "yes"?  It was so long ago, that I can't remember.  I just went back and read the privacy policy, and it clearly says that you don't sell our information....I stand corrected.  However, I guess some of the advertisers can, and do.  I've gotten calls and emails from advertisers that should not have any information on me, but did.  I'm sure information gets passed around a lot on the cyber highway.

If you "opt-in" to an advertiser offer that has a "Yes/No" radio button next to it, FusionCash automatically transmits one or more of: email address, name, street address, and/or demographic information to the advertiser(s) you selected.

You don't sell our information, but it is given freely to advertisers if we complete some offers?  Is that what the statement above means?  Could it be because of the demographic information, some advertisers will let us fill out the required information, but will not credit us based on the information you provide them?  So we could be spinning our wheels filling out an offer, but they have already decided not to accept us for credit because we are not the demographic they're looking for based on what you provided them automatically?  Don't take this wrong, I'm just trying to understand why there is so many people that don't get credited over and over.

The section about 'yes/no' applies only to the registration process when you are getting your $5 signup bonus on FC.

To answer your question - you are required to opt in to at least one offer in order to get your signup bonus.  You can pass on it, but then you don't get your bonus.

To recap - we only pass your information to an advertiser when you select "Yes" next to them on the FC registration process page with "Yes/No" radio buttons.

You have to read the Terms associated with any offer you complete, as some of them grant a lot of permissions with the information you submit.  These are not FC policies, but advertiser policies.  We try to avoid partnering with the overly aggressive ones, but some of them get through anyway.  Point being, if your data is being sold and you didn't authorize it, it's probably not coming from FC.  But when you sign up for a few offers with the same email address you use on FC, it can be hard to tell who is sending what.

Not really, as I only do offers on Fusion Cash, no other websites.  I do read the terms, and some of them are sneaky in their dealings so it's important to read everything.  Never CC offers, or those asking for information that I don't think is any of their business.  There's been a couple times I really wanted to buy something from an advertiser here on Fusion Cash, but just won't chance it.  I take surveys on a couple other websites, but no offers.  I do recognize some of the calls I've gotten were to offers I did here, but didn't get credited for.

I know you need your advertisers because that's how you make your money.  You need us also, and we need you to make our little extra.  However, some advertisers are unscrupulous on the web.....what else is news.  There's no perfect system because we are dealing in cyberspace.  I talked with an FBI agent recently about how our information gets passed around, and he said, you just can't "filter" everything in cyberspace.  However, they are tightening the net more and more.

I had my identity compromised from a bank (B of A) database by hackers, about 8 years ago. It's been a nightmare ever since.  I'm very careful how much information anyone has on me.

Is it because I run linux? lol

Definitely because you run linux.  I don't think I've ever seen a download offer that was open to linux users.  There's just too few of you to justify the expense of building software for the platform.
