I connect my bank account with paypal, I use paypal to buy stuff, at the beginning, I paid by e-check, I realized there is no enought money in my account, then I informed the seller canceled, only this reason, the bank send to me 5 letters and asked me to pay 22 dollar for the overdraft fee then 35 overdraft fee. but it is the same payment and it has been canceled. oh, my god, I lost these money. this is bullshit. there isn't this law in China, if your account no enough money, they will just inform you no enough money and they will not pay. but here, the bank allow you to pay and they take overdraft fee except the stuff cost.. HATE This rule

...but honestly, most banks have "overdraft protection" that
you have to ask for (some might do it automatically if you have
both a checking account and savings account). anyway, if your
account goes into negative, they pull funds from your savings
account so that you will not be charged an overdraft fee...

ask your bank about this. i was signed up for "overdraft
protection" and i was still charged an overdraft fee and
when i brought it to their attention, they refunded me
because they were in the wrong!

but yeah, bank rules are pretty strict here in the states.

I'm not shocked, banks along with every one else is after the almighty dollar. Make sure you read the fine print whenever you sign up for any kind of account because 9 times out of 10 there will be something in there to screw you over.

I also want to cancel the bank account, after I call them, it is not their fault, cos I connect paypal, Paypal's fault,  I do have only one account and only this checking account, cos I am not working, so I didn't open other account. I do not use it often.
I want to apply a credit card, but it is like Not easy for me since I am not working and no income.....
