Direct Deposit?
« on: December 13, 2010, 06:08:49 am »
I'm considering switching my payments to direct deposit instead of PayPal. Can anyone tell me if this is just as fast as PayPal or does it take longer for the money to get to your bank. I usually get the money in PayPal on the 20th. Thanks!

@cindyhair - Depending on what day it is (example would be Friday), it takes a few days.  It is not instant like Paypal, it takes around 2 - 3 days excluding the weekend.
I have ways of making money that you know nothing of.

i believe there will still be a delay while your bank approves the incoming funds. with paypal, you will have to wait for the money to be transferred to your bank account. i'm betting they have about the same wait time.

Cashouts are approved around the 20th of the month after your request. For example, if you request a cashout today (and your account passes verification), you can expect approval on or around January 20th.

Once your cashout is approved, you must allow additional transit time for your payment:

Checks are cut and mailed 1-2 business days after approval. Delivery is usually within 2-5 business days. Thus, you can expect to have the check in hand by the 30th of the month after you cashout.

Direct Deposit payments appear in your bank account as a line item credit within 1-5 business days of cashout approval, depending on your bank's policies. Thus, you can expect to see the credit post to your account by the 22nd-25th of the month after you cashout.

PayPalŪ payments are sent 1-3 days after approval. Thus, you can expect to have the money in your PayPal account by the 23rd of the month after you cashout.

I hope this helped!  Any more questions, just ask.  :)

Thanks everyone for the help. I think I will just stick with PayPal payments. It seems a little faster by a day or 2 anyway. I have a PayPal debit card so I don't really need to wait for it to be transferred to my bank. I just have a bill that's due on the 21st of each month & thought maybe I could use my FusionCash payment to pay it if it would get to my bank quick enough.   :)

This was a goo question. I haven't cashed out before but I will this month. I figured I would do direct deposit because it will be the easiest for me. I didn't consider wait time but like some people said, it'll probably work out the same as paypal.

I use direct deposit and don't have any problems.  I haven't used PayPal with FusionCash, so I don't know if it is faster.  But I usually get it a couple days after the 20th.

For me the direct deposit is always safe and fast enough to get the money. I got 2 cashouts through the direct deposit and no delays at all. always arrived on the 20th of the month like a clock!

I keep debating whether to get a check or use paypal.  Haven't received my 1st cash out yet.  Can't wait.  Working on that 2nd.

I had just recently switched to direct deposit and my payment was in my account on the 17th of December. Which is 3 days before I was supposed to get it. So, I'd go for it if you really want to. I haven't had any problems with it so far.

Good luck on whatever you choose though!   :peace:

I believe Paypal is better in terms of convenience. It'll save me a trip to the bank. Besides, Paypal is pretty credible and safe.
