I'm grateful someone cares of me enough to give me a gift. But I don't like the fact that the gift I receive have no practical purpose for me. 'm for gift cards so that I can buy the things I really need or want.

It's better that somebody gets use out of it if I'm not going to. And it's still a gift for me in a way because it saves me money that I would have spent on the gift for the other person, but it's wrong if you give it away not having an idea if the next person will like it or not.

I'm not against re-gifting as long as it's done tactfully.. It should always only be done if you think the giftee would really like of benefit from the gift, and you should always be careful of giving that gift to someone if the original gifter knows that person and may figure it out ;)

regifting is something I would do if I don't want it.

I dont think there is anything wrong with regifting. If its something you dont use and you know someone with an interest in the item why not regift, No harm done.

I think if you get a gift and you don't use it I think its ok to regift the present just don't give it to the person that gave it to you in the first place.

If I regift I make sure the recipient will like it.

I re-gift occasionally but only if I know that neither the giftee nor the gifter will know or see each other.

Someone I really don't know sent me a variety of nuts as a thank you present for something I did.  I can't eat nuts, so am regifting it today.  The recipient will be told that it was a regift, as we do lots of gifts.

I have trouble getting rid of anything that was a gift, even if I have no use for it whatsoever. I have a feeling it's going to become a problem as time goes on. xD;

I don't think there is anything wrong with it, but if your gonna do it then you need to be sure that you don't give that regift to someone who knows the original gifter.

I do not mind if someone gives my gift to someone else. As long as they know that 'I thought of them by presenting them the gift'. Besides, I would rather have my gift used than having it in someone's trash or basement  :crybaby2:

I don't, but I wish my family would, it would make the whole shopping thing go so much faster and easier
