All of that describes me.  I must be a mitten.  However, I prefer to wear gloves to my fingers are free to do their thing LOL

I love mittens, However I have what I call flip top mittens.
The whole top  flip back so you can use your fingers.
These help me alot when I have to clean my horse stalls
during the winter.

Mittens actually DO keep your fingers warmer because your fingers share the body heat. If you're in REALLY cold weather with severe wind chills, you need all the protection you can get. I like the hand warmers that you shake up and you can stick them inside the mittens or in your socks and they keep you real toasty.

I'm mittens because they are actually warmer than gloves. And also mittens are so comfortable to wear, I do not like gloves.
