Yeah, I completely hear you on that one! I entered my phone number JUST ONCE on ONE form and within days I had atleast a dozen phone calls a day from different companies, many of which would leave some sort of message. Now to get to real messages I care about it, it's almost like weeding through a bad case of email 'you know what I mean' .... my advice would be to be very careful of entering your phone number with sites that require it. They wouldn't require it unless they were going to use it and they ARE GOING to USE it, SELL it, SELL it AGAIN .... before you know it you've gotta hotline coming in 24/7 on your cell phone from advertisers, quotes for death insurance and it goes on and on...  :bs:

I'm glad someone else mentioned that b/c I always wondered if this is strictly an internet dealy, what purpose would they have for my # anyway?  It always sent up a red flag to me!  And the same goes for giving my address away if I am not registering for something (because I'm living with someone else), and I wouldn't want their junk mail level to increase.   :(

yea i don't think you should put your phone number they call you all types of the day and give your cell to false companies that make you pay for the txt messages they send you smh that happened to me once.

Get a google voice number and use that. It's a phone number that people can call. don't link it to a real phone.
Check the voice mail box regularly.

I guess I've been lucky...I've never had a call on anything but the car insurance quotes I asked for a few months ago.  They only called once each and that was it.   :dontknow: :dontknow:

That really is the most annoying thing.  But if that ever happens again you can call the number back again and request to be put on the no-call list.
