A date which will live...in infamy.

What a tragic day. The odd thing about it though was that a lot of our citizens didn't even know where PH was. Many thought it was in New York!

I know a person who thought it was in Japan.

I subbed a third grade class one day for history and none of the kids knew anything about it.  I did a bad thing, and scrapped the word search the teacher left me, gave a small talk about Pearl Harbor (none of the kids even knew what WWII was about), and we played Hangman with the terms.  They loved it, and I hope they learned something from it.
