Do you believe in the Horoscopes and Zodiac Signs?

I don't in no way believe in the horoscopes and zodiac signs. But one day after the subject was randomnly discussed by me and a friend, I decided to look up my zodiac sign and horoscope details. What I found about what my horoscope says about my recent past and immediate future was somewhat accurate. That scared me a little. So my question is this: Is there any truth about the things the horoscope says about people's personality, love compatibily, interrests, and etc...?  Tell me what you think!

Honestly no. People will try to say it's real or that it's demonic in some respect, but it's pretty harmless unless you're some person that follows each days report word-for-word. I check mine every day on the paid-to-click thing and have had some pretty funny parallels like you had. One day it said that I would struggle with a virus. I noticed a lot of people were sick around me, so I imagined I'd be getting sick or something. Turns out that same day my PC got the worst virus I ever had to deal with! lol

The problem here is the human mind is ALWAYS looking for patterns. ALWAYS. So if something aligns to what you were told earlier, you may think that original "teller" knows what it's talking about even thouigh it's highly illogical and irrational (for instance christians with their biblical prophecies- "the bible said this, which looks like what happened here! Therefore it's true!"). For instance a year ago I thought I was being 'haunted' by the number "101" as I kept seeing it everywhere I went. But then I realized how many numbers I was staring at during the day and that whenever I saw 101, my mind would only log that one pair of numbers instead of all the others. My mind would disregard the other hundreds of number pairs I saw during the day in favor of that one just because it aligned to that pattern in my mind.

"12:12...12:30...12:42...12:53...12:57...1:00...1:01 OMG 101 AGAIN IT'S HAUNTING ME!"
"Hmm...address...93...97...105...103...101 OMG THERE IT IS AGAIN!!!"
"10010100101011100101011000101...OMG THE BINARY NUMBERS ARE IN ON IT TOO!"

So something like the zodiac signs and horoscopes are nothing but entertainment-- what they say will stick in your head for the day and if something happens close to what the readings said, you might be convinced. It's a clever trick though! I will say I like them because they tell you to watch for positive and negative things in your life that you may have not noticed or should really sit and think about. Similar to a fortune cookie I suppose. But to think that our lives are determined by the stars, though sounding cool, is a little too wacky for me. I hope this makes sense.

That's a very good response,and yes it makes very good sense. But be careful about the comparisons you make, so you may not offend anyone because people do believe in the prophesies in the Bible.

zodiac signs and horoscopes are just for entertainment purposes only,people who are believers  make it a bigger deal than it is ,i believe its all about positive thinking----if u think u can do it then u will!!!!

Christians are NOT supposed to participate in things of the Devil, but many so called Christians do. BUT they will have their day to stand before God on Judgement Day.

I think horoscopes are for entertainment. when I used to read them, they never seem to pertain to what is going on in my life.

Similar to a fortune cookie I suppose.

I got the single best fortune cookie in my life the other day.  It read "You think its a secret, but it never has been one."  I still have it in my wallet.  It makes me feel special.

The thing about horoscopes (and fortune cookies  ) is that they are so general and vague that you can honestly attribute almost anything to it to make it true.  So if my horoscope says something along the lines of "You will wake in the morning and find that things are not always what they seem," I would be foolish to think that if a ManBearPig walked to my door and knocked on it asking me to donate money to something other than Global Warming Research that my horoscope came true.

You are right Christians are not suppose to participate- look at the story of King Solomam when he tried to get an answer from the witch- the Bible tells you they exists but we are to stay away

I don't believe that the horoscopes and the zodiacs signs are true because these are only guessed future events that depend on the position that the stars and planets aline.
