i won't know if i like amazon until i receive the
kindle i ordered for my fiance for christmas!
as far as buying goes, that was my first purchase.
i'm kinda nervous about it, considering i rarely make
a purchase that large on the internet. i should know
within 3-5 business days, lol.

i've sold college text books on there for myself and
friends and we've always had great luck with those.
i've heard that amazon has changed a lot within the
past few years for the worst, but that's only been
hearsay, so i can't attest to that...

i'm crossing my fingers the kindle arrives safe &sound!

I got my Kindle online from Amazon in February.  It arrived on time, in great shape, and I love it.  The biggest problem is deciding whether to read or be on FC...lol

We have had good luck on Amazon finding books cheaper, and recieving things in a timely manner, They seam to work and settling thing when vendors do not
follow through what they say they will do.

I love Amazon.  I ordered my Kindle from Amazon last year and it arrived before the estimated due date. So don't fear, the Kindle will arrive on time.  I have ordered other products from Amazon and have never had a problem.  Your fiance' is going to love her Kindle.

I like it okay. The shipping charges are ridiculous though. When I can get free shippingI like it more.

I have ordered from Amazon lots of times. I have only had a couple of small problems but it was made right both times - once by the seller & once by Amazon. I have no complaints & will continue to buy from them. I find really great deals & most of the time I get free shipping! I almost always get my items before the due date too. What's not to like?

Hey Linda, just curious. Can you open and read emails and do Ebay on your amazon kindle device? LOL sorry I'm so naive about it.

Amazon is OK.  I've had some trouble with them, but there's really no other site with lower prices on books.
