I agree with 60's and 70's...The beatles and the doors.  Jim Morrison in leather pants is just an added bonus.

Its probably the 80s because of the "post punk" movement. I was born in 85 but today i enjoy bands that came from that time period like The Smiths, Joy Division, The Sound, The Chameleons, U2, and Echo and the Bunnymen.

I'm partial to the Big Band era in the 40's.  It was my parents music but I find that I like it more and more.  It could be because it reminds me of when my parents were still around and makes me feel good when I hear them.

I would agree with you 100%!! There is some good stuff nowadays, but the 70's and 80's was by far the best time period in music (imho).
