Tree preferences
« on: December 02, 2010, 03:48:44 pm »
Okay everyone, which do you prefer a real tree or an artificial one? I have an artificial one because it's just me and my older son who is rarely home,so that leaves me with trimming it and bringing it down...http://[flash=200,200][/flash]

We've always had an artificial tree and I like it. I just got the Charlie Brown Christmas tree for my room and I love it!

my family has never had a real tree! not one time.
my fiance's parents, however, always had one
up until a few years ago...

i'd like to have one at some point, since i've never
had a real one. but i enjoy the artificial ones too.
i got mine on sale at hobby lobby right after
christmas a few years ago for $15! it had originally
been around $100. its tall and slender, i love it.
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

I like faske trees. Real ones give off a nice scent, but they are a pain to clean up!

We had a real one once, but my dog went over and lifted his leg to it. Ever since then we have put up a fake one

Always had a real tree when I was growing up.   Even helped my Dad once locating one in the back woods (we lived on a farm with our own woods).  Lots of works to cut it down, drag it home and put it up.  Never liked taking it down.

These days, its artificial all the way.   Started out with a regular sized artificial tree -- and gradually shifted to one that I could just bring down from the attic -- fully trimmed.

Have terrific holiday season, everyone!

I just had to chuckle, when my kids were little we would make a C.B.tree and I swear they liked that better than the 6ft live tree we got every year. Thanks for the memory

I Love the smell of the fresh cut pine that only a car air freshener can give you sooooo-
We Set our walmart christmas tree it has all its light already on it. We decorate it most elegantly
and then hide the car air freshner "pine scent" some where in the tree.
It smells, good looks great.Never knew fake could ever be sooooo beautiful

Always had real trees and never a fake one.

I hate pine trees, they *bleep* you and it hurts, I like frasier furs.

An eight foot Noble Fir every year, the real thing and we cut it ourselves to make sure it's fresh as a daisy.
