Anything is bad if consumed in excessive amounts.  Diet soda, though, is ultimately bad for you; it contains aspartame, and unlike high-fructose corn syrup in regular soda (you could develop obesity or diabetes over time),  it can instantly kill you.  It's a chemical poison.

I like to think it is the lesser of the two evils.  I don't think any soda's are good for you but I still enjoy them.

Research what aspartame can do. It's in all diet drinks. It can destroy your brain and has done so in multiple lab scenarios with mice.

Like has been said, all soda is bad for you. Diet soda also tastes nasty, so I say if you're going to drink soda, then go for the real thing lol.

Well i will say this my mother is addicted to diet dr.pepper and she goes thru withdrawls from them if she doesn't have her fix. And i recently heard on the news that diet drinks have sacarine in them which make your thirsty, so they drink more. So really whats good for you out there?

I happen to like coke zero and diet dr pepper. The originals seem far too thick and syrupy to me now. Since the coca cola company has introduced truvia (a natural sugar substitute that is made from the stevia plant with no calories that actually tastes great! ) I would not be surprised at all if they went to using truvia in all of their products eventually.

all soda makes me brake out and it is kinda addicting, stay away from soda if you can!

I drink diet sodas, not the best for me i know, but better than non diet.
