Something similar happened in an episode of Family Guy, and I am asking this question to see what you would do.

You along with a good friend traveled to the past, spent some time there having fun but did something you would later find out caused time to change. When you both return to the present, you learn the world is a much better place then what it was when you left (no aids, no starving kids, little to no crimes, no fossil fuel dependence, 16 year old girls aren't getting pregnant, child beauty pageant don't exist, marijuana is legal, etc). You also discover your mate is now married to someone else and the kids you had were no longer your children.

Would you stay in this world, or would you return to the past, and undo what you did to get back your family?
