Favorite holiday pie?

Apple pie.  But it has to be really good.  Quite often when I get a piece, I am disappointed and wonder why I am wasting all of those calories on a crappy piece of pie.

Apple Pie or French Silk Pie are about the only two kinds of pie I like so I guess thopse two would be the ones I like during the holidays.

I'm not a huge pumpkin pie fan, but my dad as a recipe for a crustless "impossible pumpkin pie" that I actually like.

Even though I love apple and rhubarb pies, I don't think of them as holiday pies.

Probably pecan pie is my favorite holiday pie, with brown sugar pie as a close second.  A friend of mine introduced me to brown sugar pie - it tastes a bit like pecan pie, just without the pecans.  May be a good alternate for people who have nut allergies.

I would have to say pumpkin but for some reason it has to be warm outta the oven or super cold outta fridge don't like room temp pumpkin??? Is that ODD?

I know its not really a holiday pie, but I love lemon meringue.  I do get one on my birthday every year, so I guess that counts.  Its a holiday to me

I'm not a big fan of pies in general, but I can't resist the pumpkin pies on thanksgiving.
