Saturday  right after Thanksgiving and the day after Black Friday is usually the best. Grab a glass of wine or eggnog, watch a christmas movie and set up/decorate the tree  ;D

Any time after Thanksgiving.  Even the night of Thanksgiving is fine but NEVER before.  It's just wrong..... :dontknow:

ASAP Christmas is one of my favorite holidays and the tree is one of the most meaningful representations. The sooner the tree goes up the sooner Christmas begins.

The best time to put up the Christmas tree is when your ready to put it up. I am going to put mine up this weekend. I love decorating it with all the ornaments I have collected over the years and the first flip of the switch to turn the lights on. I just love it. When the tree is up and ready I get into the Christmas spirit and then get in the mood for shopping for gifts.

I agree with most here, the day after thanksgiving is usually when all the decorations and tree go up, as the countdown to christmas starts.

Our tree is usually up the first week of December. We are getting a fresh cut tree this year and so I would prefer to put it up about two weeks before Christmas.

I think right after Thanksgiving is a good time. I used to be annoyed by people who put up decorations too early but I think its cool that people still get into the holiday spirit so I am not so bothered anymore when I see Christmas lights out in November. I am annoyed by stores that put out christmas decorations in the summer though. That's too early!

Usually not until a week into December; otherwise its too early and the tree dies too fast.
Then you get the fire hazard, the needles everywhere and rotting wood smell.
