Angel
You are my angel, so precious and sweet.
Your love so strong it swept me from my feet.
Time and again you've proven your love to me,
and I've returned it as well, I hope that you can see.
Your tender touch, and warm loving heart,
kept me loving you right from the start.
Your beautiful smile, and piercing eyes,
love has rewarded me with such a prize.
Together in love, you know we'll make it through,

I used to write poetry back when I was in school. It wasn't anything spectacular, but I did submit a couple in to different contest and got an award for one. I also used to be in our poetry club and our speech team where I recited some dramatic poems and did place a couple times.
