ARE THERE ANY EARLY BIRDS OUT THERE WHO HAVE PUT THEIR CHRISTMAS TREE UP YET? WELL I HAVE AND I AM WORKING ON THE OUTSIDE OF MY HOME.

This year decided no tree, newly separated, however, I do have a palm tree in my living room so I put lights on it and some snow flake decorations.  It works just as good.  And hung some stocking shapped lights in the window.  I did this all before Thanksgiving which is early for me.

Sorry to hear about your seperation. Noone needs that before the Holidays.

Thanks gizmo, can I call you that? :) Its been kind of rough, we separated in October, but its for the best.  Just glad to have my friends and family here to get me through.  Luckily no kids involved makes it a bit easier, just dogs and the cat.

They always say a dog is a persons best friend. If you need anything to talk about I am always here to listen and give advice.

Our place is so small. We're still trying to decide where it will fit. Hope to have it up by Dec 1 but don't know. I think we need to get a smaller tree.

Not yet. I want to buy a fresh tree but I don't want it to dry out before christmas time.

No not yet unfortunately, I have to find a spot for it this year. lol! Just in case you were thinking it, I'm not a hoarder. Lol! I just have my bro and my mom sleeping in my living room and the tree will be in the way. I'll find a spot for it though. Really, if I put my mind to it I definitely will. Matter of fact I'll be putting it up tomorrow when my hubby's at work.

I stoped putting up a tree when my moved out. It just seemed like something was missing. All the fun of chrismas is in a childs eyes. And when they grow well, it isw just not as fun. So enjoy your little ones .

Sadly my tree is not up yet....I am in the process of moving and I get into the new place in about a week or two, so I am just going to have to wait. But I'm soooo excited!! Ever since I was kid, decorating the tree was my favorite Christmas activity and now as an adult I am not ashamed to say it still is!

One of the traditions in my family is after Thanksgiving Dinner, we put up the Christmas Tree and all of its trimmings together. This to me makes this day even more special. (Just another family photo for the great grands to see!!)
