I put my tree up the Monday before thanksgiving. My tree is not really a Christmas tree though, It's a hockey tree because it only has hockey ornaments.

We always put the Tree and other deocrations up the day after Thanksgiving!

not a chance yet.  waiting until everyone is doing nothing and we have the xmas cd out to put it up! shaweet!

No, no Christmas tree up yet. To be honest, we probably won't put a Christmas tree up this year.

  My family decided to wait until this Sunday evening to start on decorating for Christmas. Everybody has to work and my 3 sons live out of town, so we are going to celebrate Thanksgiving this Sunday and follow up with putting up the tree. My mother used to do this as a tradition in our family every year. I recently lost my Mother to cancer and I thought this would be a wonderful tribute to her memory for my family to continue. I am kind of nervous about the tree though. This will be Misterbos' first Christmas ( my little Dog) and he has issues about new things in the house.HA!HA! You know, he tries to shred and tear things up into a million little pieces if it is something unfamilar. Thank God he is so small or he might be able to do some real damage!!

I just have a very small tree and it isn't up yet.  But, I do have my Disney Christmas village in my front bay window.

What is all the Hurry? Christmas will be here soon enough along with all the Hype and craziness that comes with it I have resolved to take things slower and try to enjoy what is important and try not to get caught up in the madness.   HeHeHe. This year we are having a tree decorating party we swap ornaments and try to get several trees decorated by helping each other usually the lights get completed depending on how many want to participate it is fun and we get to know our neighbors!!!! Try it does not have to be fancy just bring ornaments to swap and go from there Good Luck Have FUN!!!!

No ... not yet.  I think we may put it up next weekend.  This is just my second christmas with my husband (3rd)  I finally got it right this time!!!!     I am looking forward to a wonderful, peaceful Christmas.  I am a grandmother for the first time this year!!!

Ugh, why is it that people start putting up their Christmas decorations right after Halloween? Shiiiiii it was hardly Thanksgiving and I already see decorated houses and stores like Michaels selling festive decorations. .__________.

We normally put our tree up the day after Thanksgiving but have been forestalled by my broken leg.  We will probably put it up tomorrow.  We have been going with living trees for two years so that we can replant them...kind of our eco-friendly christmas present.
