Manual requests for credit
« on: March 14, 2008, 01:40:34 am »
I have signed up for "The Good Cook" and paid for and recieved my initial order. I have not recieved my $12.00 credit as of yet. How do I make a manual request. I have seen this mentioned but cannot find out exactly what the procedure is. THanks

That is because they took away the option to request Manual Credit a little while ago. The new lingo is if you do not get credit with in 30 days then there is nothing they can do.  Quite personaly I feel that is a bad policy and FC knows my feelings on this subject.  So all I can say is good luck and if you want more info look for the thread started by me called Bring Back Manul Credit.

Unless my search skills are just inferior, the thread referred to above seems to have disappeared.  I hadn't noticed that manual credit was done away with, and am very disappointed in this as well.  It really sucks to have no recourse for a non-paying offer that I had to put money out for.

Due to massive amounts of abuse and fraud, advertisers and partners of ours stopped taking manual credit requests.  Before we discontinued the program, we were paying them almost entirely out of pocket which is not a sustainable business practice.  So while it was our choice to discontinue the program, we were forced into it by uncooperative partners (IMO they were rightly so - this industry is full of immoral folk who complete offers over and over and fabricate MCRs).
