So I put that title to get your attention I guess haha.  Okay, so is it bad/weird for me to take my son with me to my gyno appointments?  He's 2, and I don't really think he knows what's going on and it's not like he can see anything.  Also, sometimes at home I'll walk around in my bra while gettin dressed or something - is that inappropriate for a 2 year old to see?  It seems like as a Mom I should sense when it's getting to the point where he's too old to see his mom in her undies.

i don't think that's a big deal at all, atleast not at
this age. he probably hasn't hit the "curious" stage
yet, and he probably doesn't stare at you while your
changing, wondering what in the world THOSE are...

at 2, i think you're pretty safe. my nephew just
turned 4 and he would definitely be interested in
seeing things he's never seen before! just out of
curiousness and because i think he internally
knows its forbidden or something? he'll poke his
mom's *bleep* sometimes and he'll get in trouble
for it, so i think its the mystery behind it, hah.

...but anyway, you're a mom! you do what you
gotta do, and i think any mom would say the same

If you’re concern, it’s better not develop this into a personal habit. Put on a shirt and pants and you’re all set–no worries. If you cannot find a babysitter, then you don’t have a choice but to bring your son along to the gynecologist’s appointment, right? At home you have better control of what you do.

You are good.  You certainly got my attention or otherwise I would not be replying.

Wow, a two year old.  Great for you.  You have your hands full.

My experience tells me that what you are doing is very appropriate.  Your little one, does not understan at this time what is going on.  You will know the right time to stop doing it.  In our case, it was around the age of five or maybe six.  Trust me, you will know when to stop.

In the mean time, continue doing what you do!!  Have fun!!

I agree, I didn't worry about it until my boy started noticing. They will forget about it if you don't make it a big deal. And I think the gyno trip is fine too. I'd get a babysitter if possible just to spare yourself the trouble though.

i myself wouldnt feel comfortable bring my child to a gyno appt. but if i had no babysitter, then obviously id have too.

if your concerned about what you wear, maybe you should wear a shirt?
