Julie,
I don't like it too well when Bob is gone, especially when it's the three week trips. Part of that is the trust factor however. It is a bit of a break in some factors though. Lots of times I will be really lazy and do things like...sleep on top of the covers with a blanket and not mess up the bed or make it while he is gone.

I don't spend as much time cooking either. I bought a head of cabbage and a bag of lettuce. I plan on eating more salads and some meals of fried cabbage which is something I wouldn't do if he were home. Usually I don't even brew a pot of coffee but will resort to instant for myself.
There are always things to do, studying, crocheting, exercising, household projects. My son might come and spend a couple of days with me too. He starts school in February and is now living much farther away so this will be a good opportunity to spend some quality time with him and give me company. I also got a text message last night asking if I would watch the "little one" on Saturday and keep her overnight so I won't be alone that day.
I got Bob on a project for me last night. We are having a Halloween project at school on Thursday and I had the idea to be a victim of the Titanic. I took an old inner tube of the "little one" ,which was yellow, and covered it with a couple of layers of masking tape. Bob hand wrote RMS Titanic Liverpool on it with black marker. I'm going to dress in a long skirt, short jacket, boots, wet my hair down, paint my face pale white, dark circles under my eyes and blue lips and put the life preserver around my neck. Maybe carry an oar. If I can find something like seaweed I will stick it in my hair too.
They are giving great prizes away for the best costumes and maybe I can win something nice.
I scored a 94 on my test. I missed two. Not too shabby. I also drew my first blood yesterday, on the teacher, and did okay. I was sort of shaking when I was done though. We have to do 10 successful arm vein draws, 10 hand draws with a butterfuly needle and six fingerpricks to pass this class. I have done 4 of the finger prices, really easy, so far. It wasn't as yukky as I thought it was going to be but I don't think I'd want to make a full-time job of it.
I am going to keep the cats name the same. It's Nala. I brought her in the night before last but she was uncomfortable about being in the house it seems. She wanted out so I'm going to let her chart the course. When it gets cold enough she probably be glad to come in. She loves laying on the patio in the sun though and so far we are still having some warm afternoons.
I know what you mean about things cluttering up. You should see my computer room right now. When I get into study mode things just get forgotten around here and this is where I spend most of my time.
My daughter and her family will be coming up for a few days around Thanksgiving. Her MIL is in a rest home now and they are going to come and take her out to dinner. We will probably do the Black Friday shopping thing and then have our turkey dinner on Saturday. So....I'll have to do some major cleaning before then. Otherwise I'm going to chillax this next week and just work on things for school and projects I want to spend time on like my crocheting and genealogy.
Hope you have a good day. Do you have any sub jobs lined up?
Oh BTW...I didn't see any of the Christmas peeps in the store on Sunday. I think I'll start out with making my bath salts this week sometime and move on to the gifts in a jar later when I have more money.
TTYL,
Kim
