She's doing as well as to be expected - still passing grains/pieces.  We find out the gallbladder results this Tuesday.  Thank you for keeping up with her - that is very thoughtful of you!  Have a nice day!  :)

I am a 53 year-old mother and grandmother. I have eight children 5 girls and 3 boys. I have 7 grand children 5 girls and 2 boys. I am an nurse LVN for the last 33 years. I just injured my back after all these years 4 years ago. Now I am going to college online, I first became a Medical Transcriber and now I am getting my Associate Degree in Health Information Management. I try to make some cash online doing PTC, transcribing reports, virtual assistance, blogging, Fusion Cash and tweeting.

I don't do this full time I feel I could make some great cash if I did it full time, I don't even do this part time. I should get busy and make more. I have tried to get jobs being a Unit Secretary but they say I am overqualified. I am not able to do bed side nursing so I am changing a shift to my medical profession.  I love to crochet, sew, read and walk.  :peace:

Welcome to my blog pages debrar and bretay.  It sounds like we all have quite a bit in common.  It's funny how these pages are bringing together some friends.  Judy and I have actually connected on facebook and I know that I look forward to the daily posts while earning a little extra cash...and don't we all need both...friends and cash!

Stop by often and say hello.

:cat:  Hi bretay and debrar!  I also enjoy meeting new friends through FC.  This thread of Kim's is a great one for getting to know one another.  She's right about looking forward to seeing what's been written or who else has come in while, at the same time, earning a little cash.  It's nice to "meet" you both!

Hi Kim.  Hope you are juggling things okay right now.  My daughter is going to meet with a specialist now about whether or not they wil remove her gallbladder.  There are no gallstones, thank goodness, but it's not working right - It's only working at a 30% level instead of 40%.  They still will check a couple of other things to rule out before deciding.  She's still on the nausea meds in order to keep her food down.  But, overall, she's feeling some better and having less pain now from the kidney stone grains.

Are you working on the phlebotomy now?  Let me know how you are progressing.  Hope everyone is having a great start to the new week!  :)

Not doing phlebotomy yet.  Let me know how things go with your daughter.  Overslept this morning so I don't have much time to chat this morning but I'll try to catch up with you in the next few days.

Well I'm about ready to do my second cash out.  I am going to request payment for my forum posts and that should bring me up to the right amount.  I am pretty sure I made the required 30 posts for March so wish me luck and good luck to all of you also.

I'm glad I was able to cash out myself.  I didn't think I was going to make it but I did.  My computer was down for a couple of days so I haven't been able to get on.  Hope all is well.  My daughter meets with the gallbladder specialist next Wed.  I guess we will find out what they are going to do then.  I'm trying to get caught up with things on here - let me know how you're doing with things.  :)

Judy,  (and all)

I'm doing much better but still have a long ways to go.  What I'm dealing with is more on the emotional level, aside from going to school and banging my head against the walls with my studies.

Geesh Judy this thing with your daughter just seems to be dragging on and on.  Is she feeling ANY better at all?

We need to come up with things to discuss.  Usually I'm quite a talker but with what is going on in my life...I can't really talk about it.  I'm actually starting therapy/counseling next week.  I'm also thinking about starting an anonymous blog where I can really speak my mind about things.  Right now I feel like I have a hidden agenda and usually I'm an open book.

Kim,
I'm really sorry you are dealing with something, especially emotional.  I am still praying for you that things will improve in this area and that it will ease up for you.  I know how hard it is with something like that on top of regular life duties, not to mention schooling, working, moving, etc.  I don't know if it helps any, but I've been going through something for a few months myself - in the same area.  I rather think maybe the meds I'm on for that are not working as well now (I've been on them for years) and that maybe I'm becoming immune to them.  I have a dr. appt. Monday for other things but am planning on bringing it up.  I really feel for you and want things to improve for you.

My daughter, Veronica, is feeling some better as far as the kidney stone is concerned.  As long as she's on the nausea meds, she's able to eat and feels better than she has in a long while.  We'll know more on Wednesday.

My father-in-law is turning 80 years old and all of the family gave him a special birthday party tonight.  He is such a sweet and dear man.  He really looks and acts like he's more in his 60s - 70s.  I hope I'm doing that well when or IF I even make it to that age.  He had a wonderful time (so did everyone else, too!!!)

I know you crochet (and a beautiful job at that), but have you ever done counted cross-stitch?  That's what I have done more of.  I did crochet some in my 20s, but a friend got me started on the cross-stitch back then and I got hooked (so to speak.)  The biggest thing I've done is a family tree genealogy for my mother-in-law.  It took me a year.  She has it hanging on her wall in the den.  I look at it now and ask myself how did I ever do that. I still have so many to complete, too.

Closing for now; don't want to take all of your time.  Hope you have a nice Sunday and a great week.

Julie  :)

Sunday message
« Reply #221 on: April 03, 2011, 03:29:00 am »
Judy,

Thanks for the prayers and I will say some for you also.  You should talk to your doctor about your medicines for sure.

That is great about the party for your father-in-law.  I pray I live a long life too as there are so many things I have yet to complete in this lifetime.

I have done counted cross stitch and enjoyed it but haven't done much in many years.  I guess I stick with crochet because it goes faster and I can produce more gifts more quickly.

I have a bunch of home work to do today so it's nose to the books all day.  Hope your Sunday is a great one.

Thanks for the wishes Judy.  Keep me posted on your daughter's progress.  I have decided to start counseling for the other problem I am facing.  My first appointment is Thursday.

When do you see the doctor for your problems?

Have a wonderful day.  I hope spring finally makes it's way to NW PA.  I'm off of school on Friday and am planning on spending the day gathering up the fallen branches throughout the yard and burning some wood/boxes/papers.  I want to get things ready for a little spring planting.

TTYL,

Kim

I will certainly keep you in mind on Thursday.  I hope it will help a lot for you.  I saw my primary today and we talked some.  She increased one of my meds and will check again next month.  There are a couple of things she thinks are causing it.  I will FB you instead.

"See" ya soon!   Julie  :)      :cat:
