Christmas, right about the corner...

I remember celebrating last christmas like if it was only a couple months ago but sure enough, its right around the corner again.  I can't believe we only have about a month and a half before its here again.  I'm already hearing christmas carols on the radio.  Once again, its time to bring out the decorations, get the family together, open gifts and a great meal to top it off.

Every year it comes faster and faster. Its crazy! It seems like every year is harder and harder as well. Husband has been in and out of temp jobs while he is trying to find a permanant one and I am starting my own cleaning business in the next month or so.

Yes it seams like the years have gotten shorter. We started buying the kids stuff last month. It is always nice to see everyone each year.

Normally I start buying for my younger siblings (5 of them) and the rest of the family in September, but this year I haven't even started.  I think it's because I moved away from TN (where all family lives) to OH, so I'm not "in-the-know" on the latest of what they want.  I'll have to call and find out; better yet, have my parents email me their lists so I have a copy.   

It doesn't help that I haven't been able to find a job since I got up here (but we moved for my fiance's job, so we're doing okay.)  My older sister and I have agreed not to exchange gifts, to open up a bit more money for our younger siblings and lone nephew's presents.  The kids'll just have to deal with having fewer presents overall this year.  My little brat buddies are spoiled anyways.....

I just finished up my Christmas shopping this morning. If I buy anything else it will be for my mother. I doubt I will though because I don't have the money to continue shopping. I agree with the person that posted right after you. It does seem like it gets harder and harder. I have a college loan that I am trying to pay until I go back to college. I had to take time off and I decided to go back in January. Although I am not working so it has been hard to pay it on time every month. I am happy and excited to go back. I got off the subject a little, sorry. I brought that up only because I don't have money this year like I usually do. Usually I am able to scrounge up enough to buy what I want for everyone. This year it seems like bills are piling up quickly and I have no money as it is. This morning I used a clothing store credit card to do the last little bit of Christmas Shopping. So now I have to earn the money to pay that off. Which will be easy because I didn't charge that much and it is a good credit card that has a low minimum payment.
