So do you use alternative medicine?  Like, you know, herbal remedies versus advil or tylenol, ect.?  If so, how often?  If not, why?

I like to do the ion foot cleanse, I feel that it helps remove toxins not everyone agrees lol  I am a big fan of emergen-c and airborne.  I believe in pressure points, so sometimes I try those for a headache before tylenol/ibprofen etc.

well before any over the counter, or prescriptions i would lean more towards, herbs like usnea, comfrey powder, mullen, cayenne heat ointment, drawing salve, green tea, even coffee at times, always drink water more and it will prevent many sicknesses, i rarely get even a cold just from staying hydrated and eating somewhat healthy. its more hydration, and when do get a cold or flu maybe once every two years i use herbs and they work within two days if that most times!

I take some herbal conglusomine tablets which are suppose to help with your joints. It's not FDA approved so I am not sure if they are that effective.

Well this is for a persuasive speech so I have to address counter arguments - besides medication being so convenient, why do you think people would chose medication over natural remedies?

Well I could tell you people would chose herbal over medication b/c they can't afford to go to the doctor to get an actual prescription.  As for being able to access over the counter stuff thou maybe they believe the ingredients/chemicals etc it takes to make them cause more damage than good and would rather "take from the earth"?
