Homemade ranch dressing...
« on: November 04, 2010, 08:59:28 am »
My kids and hubby are Ranch dressing freaks so I make my own saves money and I know whats in it LMAO..Enjoy Ranch dressing lovers :thumbsup:

Ingredients

    * 1 cup mayonnaise
    * 1/2 cup sour cream
    * 1/2 teaspoon dried chives
    * 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
    * 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
    * 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    * 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
    * 1/8 teaspoon salt
    * 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

   1. In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, chives, parsley, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

You can also put Buttermilk in place of sour cream which tastes really good too.I make it both ways!! Hope you enjoy!! :thumbsup:

Does this taste better than store-bought or can you not tell the difference?

how much does your recipe make?

i will have to try this! i like getting the powdered
ranch dressing and adding stuff to it, to make a
breading for chicken. i'm a bit of a ranch freak
too  :P  ...and honey mustard! the sweet,
creamy kind.
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]
